Attended St Johns University 1988-89. Roomed with Bense at St.J-- man, got a few stories from that adventure, lol.
Joined the U.S Navy 1989-93. The NAVY really does mean "Never Again Volunteer Yourself." Served in Desert Storm from 91-92. Best, worst, and most interesting time of my life before meeting Sandy. Hard to believe I've actually been on active duty in 2 wars. I was mobilized again with the Marines for 5 months after 9/11. Graduated Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ 2001. Jon Bon Jovi did the commencement and handed me my diploma, lol. Started an MBA before being called back to active duty following 9/11 in 2002. I had an apartment on the Jersey Shore about 5 miles from Ground Zero directly across the Hudson. I still remember when the cable went out and I heard the news on the WPLJ morning radio show out of NYC. I thought it was a spoof at first.
I've been in the organ and tissue transplant industry since 1993 in various positions. Taught elem school for 6 months after I was demobilized in 2002- that was a blast! I still think about getting my M.Ed. I then worked at FAU in Boca FL as a training coordinator for the small business development center before taking a position in OH. Currently with a company based out of Denver (www.allosource.org) I spend about 3 weeks a month traveling: Buffalo, Atlanta, Nashville, Albuqurque, Sacramento & Denver. Dont know how I managed to rope in a good girl with that lifestyle but I did...engaged to be married next year in Gatlinburg TN!
Found out about the reunion late. Unfortunately I'm stuck taking the fiance to a professional meeting in Chicago that weekend, would have loved to catch up with everyone! Feel free to drop an email...Hopfully we can get organized for the 25th!!
