REUNION 2008
I Had a Righteous Time!
It was really good to see all of you again. It is also great to know that most all of us are still in good health. We’re not getting any younger or healthier, but none of us is on our death-bed. I would have liked to have seen many of our classmates that weren’t able to make it to this get-together. I understand Eddie Cullins & Missy Robinson couldn’t get off work and that Larry Wilson was recovering from surgery. I also realize Mark Vaughnan, Riitta Valkama, & Todd Vance were just a little too far away to make the trip logistically viable, but what about Joey Bowman, Tony Barnes, Deanne Gordon, Kim Brown, Tammy Barker, Nina Aunspaugh,, and those classmates that are fairly local? I sure am disappointed that they weren’t there. It would have been good to see all of them & Coach Jones as well.
The pictures that Beverly brought were cool. They brought back memories galore. It’s amazing how much we can remember when a picture is staring us in the face. I had to take a nap to prepare for a late night out and some of my dance moves were a little rusty, but for the most part I’m still the same guy that graduated in 1983. I’m just trapped in some old dude’s body.
The food was good, the band was good, and the drinks were cold. What more can a person ask for? Jonna, Bev, & Susan….you did good! See you all next time if I’m still alive.
