Moved to W. Memphis after graduation. Started nursing school in 1974 and went to work at Methodist Hospital in 1975 and still there. I climbed the promotional ladder from staff nurse- Clinical Director -and now Administrative Director over Home Care. I just graduated with my degree in nursing at the University of Memphis May 2008; Going back for my MBA. My Mother died Nov. 24, 2008. My Dad died July 1995. Married to the most wonderful husband for 40 yrs.!!!! He is the most thoughtful husband and caring. He loves to golf;
3-29-2012 I have decided to go back to the hospital setting. I am now Clinical Director over a cardiac unit that deals mostly with Congestive Heart Failure. I missed seeing the patients and the doctors daily. Working harder but still loving it. I have started back to college( Union University) to finish up my Masters. I don't guess we ever get too old for education!

I loved school and my old pals Deborah, Martha and Etta!!!! The Mug N Cone was a big part of my senior year; I still watch a movie :"Our Town" and remember ours. Ms. Doyle and Ms. Bunch were 2 of my favorie teachers.We all had fun and no one was left out no matter where you came from. I did not have much back then, but no one treated me any different. I started school in the 2nd grade in Marianna. Katie Harvey laughed at my skinny legs!!! Katie they are not skinny anymore(Ha Ha)
