Karen was a dear friend for many years, she is greatly missed by all who loved her. Karen's husband, Billy, died a couple of years after her. They are survived by three sons.

Karen was a second cousin; she was so full fo energy; I can still remember her twirling her baaton during the games; I know she is in a far better place and in no pain now;
Karen, we will be thinking of you the reunion.

Karen was a sweet person and was friendly to everyone. She was an important member of the Porkey Band and I will remember her smile and personality.

Karen was my best friend from 6th grade on. I think many people called her their best friend, because she was just very good at being a best friend. She was special and kind to everyone that knew her, and made those around her feel that you could always depend on her to be a loyal friend. We had such good conversations on that bus ride everyday. In 7th grade, we even shared a crush on the same senior and composed a song about him (on that bus ride). I cannot believe she left us so soon. I thank her for being such a good friend (and, for totally getting me through Spanish).
