School Story:
Voted class president during my sophomore year, I was totally stressed out since that was not my idea, not something I had wanted. I went to one of our class advisors and asked her how I could step down as President-elect since I didn't want the responsibility. She told me I could simply submit a letter of declination and after some considerations, I decided it wasn't too bad. Talked about being the class geek. Life got better after that episode.
To this day, I thought about what might have been if I had to opportunity to play basketball. I love the sport passionately and simply wanted the chance to play. However, my dad never allowed any of us that opportunity and always preached that working was more important. So that's was all we did. Yes, there was the honor society, top ten percent, and valedictorian but I always think back to that missed dream. Yao Ming, don't take it for granted.
