I spent a couple of years at ISU and IU after High School. In 1971 I enlisted in the Navy and was overseas for most of the 4 years. After my time in the military I went back to IU and completed my undergrad and went on to obtain two graduate degrees at University of Illinois and Illinois State University.
I moved to St. Louis out of my final grad program and worked as a management consultant for what is now Accenture. I've been a Consultant now for 37 years and had many of the Fortune 500 companies as my clients.
After a number of years in St. Louis I transferred to Minneapolis with E&Y and met my wife, Carolyn. We have been married now for 31 years with a step son - Sean and son - McKendree.
From Minneapolis we moved to Atlanta with a new job. I was hired to build a consulting practice for US. I was successful doing that and was asked to do the same thing in Asia-Pac. I spent a couple of years working in Tokyo. My family lived with me there and our youngest son attended an international school. We traveled primarily in Japan and loved it.
We returned to our home in a suburb of Atlanta - Alpharetta and been there ever since that time. I'm still working and will probably do so for 4 or 5 more years. I enjoy my work and travel weekly to my clients in places like Miami, New York, Charlotte, New Jersey, Chicago, Boston, etc.
