Let's see, just after school I went to work at an engineering firm in Mason City as a land surveyor and spent most of the time in northern Missouri. Lori and I were married the spring of '93. Molly was born the following spring. Later in '94 we moved to AZ where I worked for a small engineering firm until '98 where I spent a lot of time working out of town. In the spring of '98 we moved to Cedar Rapids where Cayley was born that fall. I worked as a land surveyor for another small firm in Iowa City. Our son Aidan came along the summer of 2000 and he has definitely helped in balancing the hormone levels in the house. After he was born I realized that the white crap that falls out of the sky sucks when you have to work outside. So we loaded up and moved back to where the weather is so hot that you can cook a steak outside without a grill (AZ). I worked for a large engineering firm that was based out of Canada from '01 to '06. After that I was a project engineer for a housing developer for a year until the housing market took the big crap. So for the past year and half I have been the project engineer for a heavy highway contractor. Besides working, my weekends consist of chasing the kids, playing golf, riding quads at the sand dunes, and making beer. I am not sure where the road of life will take us next but for now things are good in AZ and I can not wait to see all next year.
