I met my wife Kirsten Buckley in March of 1993 and married her in September of 1994. We purchased a home near the University of Utah. I attended classes at the SLCC and entered the Utah Police Academy. After graduating from the police academy I started my career with the Salt Lake Co. Sherriff’s Office. Kesslee, our first daughter was born in 1996. We kept this home as an investment property and built a second home in West Jordan. Bryson, my only son was born in 1997. Our 3rd and last child, Kira was born in 1998. I accepted an job offer with Midvale Police Dept., where I am currently employed. I am the Sex Crimes Investigator and the SWAT Team Explosive Breacher Squad Leader. Kirsten works from her home office and is the Director of the Utah and Sacramento Women’s Show. Kesslee Is preparing to start middle school, Bryson will be in 6th grade this year and Kira will be in 4th. I am truly blessed with a wonderful wife and awesome children. We enjoy boating at Lake Mead and Sand Hollow, camping at the family ranch in near Vernal, and other family activities. This summer we went to Zions National Park and hiked the narrows. In September Kirsten and I will be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary.

Sitting on the hall heaters visiting with friends between classes. Walking to Subway, Grinders and the Topstop during lunch. I often work overtime providing security during the football, and basketball games and we train several times each year for school shootings (active shooters) at Hillcrest. When I walk through the halls I remember how much fun I had at school.
