Nathan Belcher

Tremonton, UT - Nathan E Belcher, beloved husband, father, brother and son, passed away at his home on August 6, 2008 at the age of 37 after a courageous battle with late stage melanoma.

Nathan was born June 29, 1971 to Vernon H. Belcher and Celia (Eldredge) Belcher and was raised in Midvale, Utah. He married Julie Conover in the Bountiful, Utah Temple on November 7, 2003 and lived in Tremonton, Utah.

Nathan was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served his church in many capacities including as a missionary in the Auckland, New Zealand Mission.

Nathan earned his bachelors degree in education from Weber State University and his masters in education administration from the University of Utah. Nathan served as a business teacher at Wasatch Junior High School and Box Elder Middle School. Nathan was a gifted teacher and loved teaching today's youth. Nathan was favored by many, many students and looked forward to working as a school administrator.

Nathan was a wonderful husband and father who loved spending time with his wife Julie and sons McKay and Aidan. His sons loved riding the 4-wheeler with him, watching him work on projects around the house, and being with him. Nathan loved being outdoors, especially in the mountains, where he enjoyed snowboarding, snowmobiling, riding 4-wheelers and driving his jeep.

Nathan is survived by his wife Julie, sons McKay (age 2) and Aidan (5 months), parents Vern and Celia, and siblings Ryan, Corbett, Natalie, Jared, Heidi and Austin and their families.

Services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10:00 am at the LDS South Stake Center at 1150 S. Tremont St., Tremonton, Utah. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah and one hour prior to services at the LDS South Stake Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nathan and Julie Belcher Family.

I was very sad to see this. I have oftern thought of Nathan and what a nice guy he was to me in High School. I was a newbie and he befriended me. I am glad that he had a great family and I send my regard....I have fond memories of him and wish I had kept in better touch. He took me to prom senior year, and was such a gentleman. Thankyou for the fond memories.

Fond regards to him and I wish his family my condolences.
