Comments:

I married my highschool sweetheart Leslie after dating for five years. I finished school at the U and have worked for Boise Cascade, 3Com, Siebel, and now CompuNet Inc. We have four children and we essentially cater to thier every need and hope for a few minutes of peace and quiet in the interim. This year our oldest will be in high school, our second will be in middle school, our third will be in elementary, and to complete the cycle, our fourth will be in pre-school. It is a gong show! The kids are involved basketball, baseball, football, lacrosse, volleyball, skatboarding, wakeboarding, waterskiing, and my favorite modeling (not so much). We have finally accepted that life is no longer about us. When the kids are satisfied and the work is done, we enjoy, going to the lake as a family, going to the gym, taking vacations, and eating. After living in Eagle Idaho (a wonderful place)for the last seven years, we have recently moved back to Utah to open a new market for our company. Things are absolutely crazy, but very good. We are very fortunate.

School Story:

I have no idea how some of us made it through high school. Even more astounding is that most of us have created offspring and thier future is in our hands. I remember wasting countless hours and days with many good friends. I see this same thing going on today with my kids and it drives me crazy. I can only imagine what our parents thought? It was never nearly as important what you did as compared to who you did it with. I remember borrowing (for lack of a more specific word) a friends dad's new BMW and taking a road trip to Park City. Utilizing our free will to miss a class or two and start the early aging process by heading to the ski resorts and laying out in the snow. Money was tight for us starving students so we had to frequent the wedding reception circuits on weekends. We were no where near as cunning, attractive, or smart enough to take it to the level of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaugn in the movie the Wedding Crashers. I clearly remember being chased out of more than one reception. Good weekends involved simple activities like putting on garbage bags in the rain and playing RAMBO, going to Hardee's or training table, playing Nintendo, and just enjoying each others company. One of the best things I recall, is that if for some strange reason you were to get into an altercation or in trouble, you knew your friends were there to do whatever it took to help you out. This was and continues to be a good thing.

Lotoja 2007 - I never thought I would shave my legs and wear this crap. This is one case where function dominates over form.
