I'm retired, damn it! After 35 years at what had been Minnesota's largest advertising agency, Campbell Mithun, and 38 years in advertising, I packed it in. I've been gainfully unemployed since April 1st, 2015, enjoying the fruits of my labors; finding solace in walking my dog, tending the yard, shoveling the walk in mid-April, you know, the standard bull shit.
Oh, and interesting side story, Campbell Mithun ceased to exist January 29th, 2016. So I guess I retired at the right time. Long story, ask me at the reunion.

After freshman year at Macalester, transferred to the U of M. Joined Delta Tau Delta fraternity, met my now wife and graduated with BA in Journalism, class of 1977. Worked in ad sales at the Minnesota Daily and the St. Cloud Daily Times before long term career in media planning and strategy development at Campbell Mithun.
