I have lived in Michigan since 1988 and been a sonographer for nearly 20 years. I went back to school for sonography and graduated in 1997. I work for an OB/GYN private practice currently. I have 11 grandchildren. Adam 15, Brody 13, Chase 13, Zachary 11, Blake 10, Claudia 8, Donovan 6, Audrey 3, Juliette 3, Ty 2 and Violet 10 months. My husband, Barry, is semi-retired and works part time in the merchandising field. We enjoy biking, traveling and participating in the grandchildren's sports activities and dance recitals. Barry and I sold our colonial home and downsized to condo living in 2013.

I spent the last three years cleaning out my home in Minonk. My 93 year old mother has been in assisted living at Heritage Manor in Minonk since 2019. My mother lived in that home on 6th street for 60 years, so the accumulation was unbelievable! My siblings and I had her estate sale in October of 2021 and we sold the home in March of this year, 2022.

Kathy C and I visited Jane Spires in Cabo a few years ago...very fun!

I keep in touch with Kathy Gabric. She is my BFF as the saying goes. I visited her in Chicago a couple of years ago. Saw Susie Matter then too.

When I visit Minonk, I see Dorri at the bank.

Barry and I took a vacation to Hawaii this past October and had dinner with Suzy and her husband. Suzy showed Barry and I around the island.

I enjoy participating in my grandkids lives. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer and dance.

I took a class to learn how to make mesh ribbon and grapevine wreaths. I like to make those and give as gifts.

I volunteer on the coffee team at church. I volunteer reading to my grandson's kindergarten class, packing lunches for a church's summer lunch program and am a library volunteer. There are multiple "little libraries" around town for people to get books and return. I am in charge of one of these at a local park.

Recently learned to play pickelball.

I enjoy planting flowers in the spring...creating a beautiful look for my condo.

My husband and I recently purchased electric bikes. We enjoy finding new bike trails to ride.

I would travel all the time if I had the time and money. But I am still working and hope to travel more when I retire.

Barry and I have been several places. Washington DC, Hawaii, Boston, Niagara Falls, Caribbean cruise, The Badlands, Fort Myers, Naples, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Nashville, Key West, San Antonio and Napa Valley to name a few.

I would like to visit the Northeast and the Pacific Northwest. Maybe a European river cruise or an Alaskan cruise.

Barry and I have walked the Mackinaw Bridge for 5 years on Labor Day. It is a 5 mile walk and thousands of people participate, including the governor.

I don't feel old mentally, but the mirror sends a different message. I try to stay active. Grandkids keep me young and I want to be a "cool" Nana!
