I served in the military, the U.S. Army for 3 years. I was fortunate enough to be on the U.S. Army alpine racing team in Germany. I then attended the University of Montana and graduated with a B.A. in Education. I taught Elementary School up in Heart Butte Montana for 3 years and then I taught in St. Ignatius, Montana for another 3 years. Then my family and I moved to Seattle, WA and I stayed at home to raise my children. I started an international wellness business in 2001 and am now happy to be helping people with their health while getting to travel around the country. I speak around the country helping people with prevention of disease. I also motivate and inspire people to take responsibility for their health and also help them build a bright future for themselves.
For fun I play (hang out now that they are teenagers) with my kids and am a ski instructor in the Vail Valley where we now live. I instruct children between the ages of 7 and 14 and get to have a lot of fun with the kids on the mountain! It's a dream job with a dream office...
My husband is an instructor pilot for the Black Hawk helicopter at a High Altitude Aviation Training Site (HAATS) in Eagle, CO. He trains pilots from around the world how to fly in high altitudes. The pilots that come through the school are most of the time on their way to the Middle East. He has he dream job and we feel so fortunate to get to live in beautiful Eagle, Colorado.
