Millard aka 'Missah Mac' represents the last batch of truly outstanding 'Cornwallians' who realized from early that, 'to whom much is given, much more is expected', hence his decision to enter the teaching profession.
At Maldon Secondary (now Maldon High) and Cornwall College, his quiet, unassuming, easy-does-it demeanor was second only to his passion for the science of Mathematics, which no doubt saved him from much of the ragging and hazing associated with first timers on any campus, Cornwall College included.
He enjoyed a game of cricket but show very little to no passion for the more physically punishing football and track & field athletics, extra-curricula activities considered the glue to the brotherhood that is the Cornwall College Alumni Association.
Sharing classroom space with you at Maldon Secondary ('71-'73) and Cornwall College ('73-'76) was an honor. Your legacy will live on in the students you guided as the consummate professional. Gone but not to be forgotten. See you on the other side, mate.
