Good to see the website up and running. Proud to be a 76er. I suspect we are one of the most active sub groups from good ole CC. It would be good to find most of those missing since our 2000 reunion.

Greetings 76ers, Larry, Zhandah, Springy et al. Is a long time brethren. It is a blessing that through technology we all can still reach out and reason with each other despite great distances

Nuff respect to Lami for providing this medium as a means for us to communicate. Some of my classmates and schoolmates I have not had the opportunity of seeing but we can certainly "act" it out in the message forum. All the best to my brethrens, and, be safe.

I'm very surprise that more of us have not visited the site. I've told everyone about it and ask them to visit. Great job gentlemen.

I am glad we are all in agreement that this site was a great idea. We have a facebook page out there, but I know not everyone is fully comfortable with the broad, worldwide coverage facebook provides. This right here...is OUR page. More private and to the point.

I would like to continue raising awareness to the video documentary I helped produce....to raise funds for Cornwall. I will post a link to how you guys can get your copy here. Links to the video trailer clips are on facebook, on CC's main page.

I have had some feedback on the documentary and word is spreading rapidly about it. ALL the funds we take in will be sent to the school via Florida Chapter CC Alumni.

I also want to raise awareness to a push by all Alumni Chapters to convert our alma mater's power to solar energy......that also is picking up popularity. It is dubbed as our biggest, most ambitious project to date. I back it 100%.  Links below.

Solar Energy Project: http://www.facebook.com/groups/cornwallcollege/10150675462309954/?notif_t=group_activity

Donate to it: To make a donation to assist with the Solar Project please visit our website @www.ccalumni-florida.com

History of Cornwall College: Past Present & Future DvD: on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iFA26PoftM

also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL3NckdPb_k

there are more.

People have been asking: the whole docu is 86 mins long, those above are just quick clips we call trailers.

To purchase a copy of the full dvd: go to www.paypal.com and send payment to paypal@ccalumni-florida.com

if you don't like doing online business then mail a check to me below, I will make sure the Florida President gets all funds: (ea: USA $10.00 plus $2.50 shipping). If you live in Jamaica, we don't yet have an easy way to accept payment in US so contact someone here and make an arrangement to get it to you.

Blessings and Shalom to each and everyone. Always a blessing to keep in touch and stay in touch. The 76er's have kept and maintained the camaraderie we established from the days, instilled in us by the our mentors and sustained over the decades by the love, care, and respect we have for each other. Many thanks to the 76ers who establish the website. God's continuous blessings upon all. Looking forward to the 2013 76er's reunion on Mobay 10-15 June. I know we are going to have a blast.

An update on the June 10-15 2013 reunion.

I was lazy so I just copied an email from Springy about the reunion plans. This is for the benefit of those last minute guys who still want to grab a last minute plane ticket & accomodations and be there. Nothing is wrong with pooling with another attendee and getting shared rooming. Unooh used to board ah school anyway. lol

here is Springy's message: originally written 3/22/2013

I need to get some feedback from you in regards to your lodging accommodations. I hope you have already started considering where you will be staying. I need a count for those who are going to be staying at the Sunset Beach hotel to communicate the numbers to Lynvale’s Brother, Evatt. The rate below is fantastic so please make use of it. Please send me a roll call ASAP in regards to this hotel.

Also I booked my room already at Kuyaba. That rate is a total of $61 for a deluxe room with two double beds. There was a parrot in the background making a whole heap a noise when I was making my reservation so mi tell de lady fe trow some stone after it.

A reunion highlight:

At the 2006 76’ers reunion we honored 10 teachers that helped to form and shaped our lives. It was a memorable event and if you missed it then you missed good thing.  This reunion we will honoring a couple of old boys that were also influential in our lives but in different ways than our teachers. These 2 characters were CC coaches who at times did not speak kindly to us as they encouraged us to do better.  On June 15th at 6:00pm at Tizzy’s restaurant please let’s all gather to honor Steve Buckner and Ali McNab for their contribution to coaching our school teams in cricket and football. This will be an informal occasion as we roast them as best as we can. Music will be provided by Medusa…unu rememba Medusa??

 Lodging:

-Wexford has deals on Expedia for $77 per night including breakfast. I have not checked recently

-Steve Powell mentioned that Sunset beach hotel is offering $80 a night all inclusive if booking is done before march 25.Lynvale Bloomfield’s brother is the general manager for the hotel. Steve not sure how we need to book to get this rate. Please communicate with the masses on this.

-Peter Chin is reminding us that we need to book early also for June 13th at Kuyaba hotel in Negril. The rate is now $61 USD. PC please update the masses if anything changed on this.

Contacts:

The following people below I have an incorrect email address for. Please provide if you have the correct ones.

- Barry Fray

-Anthony Pearson

-Ray Hunter

-I tried to put names in the distribution so if you do not see someone who you are in contact with please spread the word.

Blessings

Springy

P.S.: If it is too much work...then here is my suggestion, take the camera or the phone to Walgreens or Walmart and tell them make a CD then mail the disc to me.

Brian Wallace, 3008 Gordon Ave S, Lehigh Acres, FL. 33973. If you need it back I will return it after making the archive.

Blessings and Big up to everyone. Lisa and I returned from yard June 25th. We had a blast. The reunion was Cornwall-r-r-r-r-ific!!!!!!! It was great seeing and interacting with everyone. If I may speak for everyone I believe we had an awesome time, Hallmark moments; Scotchies, the school, (presentation), Fish Hut, Don Way, Doctor's Cave, Pelican Grill, Negril (Kuyaba), Sweet Spice Restaurant, Westgate, and Hopewell (Smoked Marlin). The camaraderie, food, activities, and fun were priceless. I will forward the pictures I took to Brian. Continuous blessings and Shalom to all.
