1967 to 1979 various engineering positions with Union Carbide Corp, Continental Oil Corp, Cedar Coal Company, U S Steel Corp, New Era Resources, Inc. all the above in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
1979 to 1988- President\CEO Millers Cove Energy Company, Inc. in Harlan County, Kentucky and Lee County, Virginia while living in Johnson City, Tennessee.
1988 to 1998 - President\CEO Canterbury Coal Company, Inc. while living in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
1998 to present - Chairman Desko Enterprises, Inc. a Coal Industry Consulting Company.
Hobbies - Grandchildren, fishing , boating , golfing, race car driving in club events on various tracks - Watkins Glen, Pocano Raceway, Summit Point, Virginia International Raceway, Daytona International Raceway (Rolex Circuit) Sebring, Mount Tremblaunt, Canada. Janet and I both drive the race cars and have collectively logged 30,000 race miles since 1998.
Janet continues to beat me on the golf course and refuses to let me tee from the senior tee box. O well, maybe she will change her mind.

Often Miss Romano (Math teacher grades 11 and 12) would make me take out my chewing gum and place it on my nose and stick a piece of paper onto the gum for the remainder of the class period.

Does anyone remember attending a Friday night dance in our gym and when the first song you danced to stopped, a radio commercial came on and this sequence repeated itself throughout the evening??? Well, I was asked by a classmate to tape record an evening of dance music for the upcoming Friday dance. I was very busy with a home project when I started the record mode and when I had finished filling the tape with music , I gave it to that person. I did not attend the dance and the next morning I received a very vocal phone call from the DJ. OPPS I forgot to edit the commercials out of the recording. I finally have this chance to apologize to all of my classmates. SORRY
