Wow! Where to begin after I grew 10 inches after graduating high school! LOL! Got my associates degree at ICC then transferred to ISU where I got my B.S. in Biology/Secondary Education. Continued at ISU and got my M.S. in Biology. Got married in 1998 to the most wonderful woman in the world! Still feel that way after 11 yeas of marriage! Spend the first few years of our marriage backpacking out West at various national parks during summers. Enjoyed a trip to England where we spent three weeks. I've been teaching full time at Parkland College for the last several years. My wife and I are both teachers and have the summers off. Although, with three kids under the age of 5 having the summers "off" doesn't really feel like much of a vacation. Five years ago I got diagnosed with Celiac disease. It's when my immune system attacks the villi in my small intestines when I eat anything that contains wheat. Really weird thing. The villi absorbs nutrients and food for your body. I had none, so was very short, gaunt, etc. Stopped eating wheat in my diet and changed my life! Wish you all my best! Take care!
