Tammy Mayhue Weaver

I have a great job that I love on most days! I run the Johnson Superette store on Hickory Grove Rd. the one that was Clemmers back when we were in school. Now I'm the older person running the register trying to keep up with the teenagers coming in before they go to school at East Gaston. I probably see most of your kids before they go to school in the morning. Most days its not like working, its more like hanging out. I have a great son Cody, who turned 12 in July. He is going to my old Junior High, Stanley. Boy, let me tell you that school has changed and not for the better. They need teachers like Mr. Oates and Mr. C.

Don't remember much about school except thank God its over. It wasn't always easy to go to a School when your brother was Eric Mayhue. You were always known as his little sister and the teachers were always weary that you were going to act like him, but all in all I do have some good memories of school. Its like the saying "If I knew then what I know now" things would have probably been different. I do miss walking down the hall and seeing all the familiar faces.
