Residing In: Mt Pleasant, TX USA
Spouse/Partner: Kirk Giddens
Occupation: Stay @ home mom
Children: We are blessed with two beautiful Christian daughters. Each has either own unique personality, yet More…they have a great sister relationship and very protective of the other.

Alyssa is 17 years old and a junior at Chapel Hill. She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball. She is happiest when she is playing ball. Alyssa plays for the Travelers Fastpitch Softball Travel Team. Alyssa is always happy go lucky and never meets a stranger. Alyssa thinks school is a place to socialize and just have a good time.

McCall is 13 years old and a 7th grader at Chapel Hill. She runs cross-country, volleyball, basketball, and track & plays softball. Like Alyssa, she also plays on a travel softball team called the Hurricanes. McCall is our serious child - - she is very literal. She loves her friends, sports and most of text messaging. School and grades are very important to McCall.

The girls lead very hectic lives and they are growing up way too fast. My hope is that I have helped prepared them for the world ahead as they get ready for college or the next phases in their lives.
Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I live in Mt. Pleasant with my husband, Kirk of 15 ½ years and two daughters Alyssa (17) and McCall (13). I am a stay at home mom. I am very active in church, Pilot Club (service organization for people with brain injuries) and the girls keep me hopping always.

Kirk (Center High School Class of 1983) works as a Health & Wellness District Manager for Wal-Mart. He is always on the road. He is on the Chapel Hill School Board also.

Since graduating I attended court reporting school in Longview for two years. Followed by moving to Tyler for a while I worked only to get married and return home to settle down. I worked the first 10 years of my married life at Guaranty Bond Bank and then at Little Giant Discount Tire for two years before deciding to make next position a full time taxi driver and dictated sports fan. The pay is less, but work is much more rewarding.

I coach a handicapped baseball league “League of Dreams”. This is our 7th year for the organization. (Mt. Pleasant Pilot Club) Kids ages 5-18 can play ball in their wheelchairs, with walkers and other disabilities. We have four teams. It is so much fun and so rewarding to see the smiles on their faces and know that they can have that little bit of normalcy in their lives.

My days are spent arranging schedules so that I can make the most of every day. I am so proud of my children and husband. Our family spends time together a lot and we are always very busy. My advice to others – get involved.
