Henry Battle

Knocked around Cleveland until '86, learning to play bass and guitar and driving school buses along the way. Also, worked and hung out with Keith Jackson and Kurt Wiant during that time. In fact, I lived upstairs from Kurt '83-'85. Good times!

Moved to LA summer of '86, continuing the bus driving thing. Dabbled in the music biz and became somewhat disenchanted with how that machine really works. I moved to Denver in '02 to live with Lori Hanson. While there, I attended a luthiery school in Phoenix. In March '06 I moved back to the LA-area. So I've successfully changed career paths and am digging it.

I want to thank Kurt Wiant, Tony Guyton, Kevin Holland, and Jack Arquilla (War Pigs!) for exponentially expanding my musical horizons.

I appreciate and value all of the many friendships and acquaintances made at MVA. Big ups to the Brothas Brown for being my boys! Thanks to Brent Cottrell for making me laugh until my stomach hurt.

There were quite a few hotties that came through MVA during my 4 years there. Thanks for fueling our imaginations and, in some cases, more.

To anyone that I didn't talk to much then, it wasn't personal. Really.
