Robert C. Eades, age 53 of Muskogee, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his residence in Muskogee while surrounded by his family. Robert was born on April 11, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Hiram and Joan C. (Handke) Eades. Although he was born in Oklahoma City, Robert was a member of the Muskogee Community since he was only one year old.

After Robert completed his early childhood education, he attended and graduated from Muskogee High School. After graduation, he attended Connors State College and received an Associate Degree in Science in 1980. After graduation from College, Robert worked numerous jobs around the Muskogee area. He recently began working as a substitute teacher at the Sequoyah Bay School.

During his younger years, Robert loved to rodeo, wrestle, play little league baseball and football. He was the kind of person who was known as being kindhearted to those who were less fortunate than him and he loved to spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Newton in 2009. Left to cherish his memories are his mother and father, Robert and Joan Eades of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Memorial Services for Robert will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1501 N. 43rd St. East in Muskogee with Pastor Steven Alexander officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Muskogee Cremation & Funeral Service, 1325 N. York, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
