Leslie Crow (Reid)

Hi all. I've had inquiries about my heart attack, so I took a pic tonight to show that I'm alive and mostly well.

Three days in the hospital, now in cardiac rehab, no heart disease and no clue why it happened. A reminder not to take anything for granted!

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

I noticed there is not an update on Renita Milam's profile. I believe she passed away September 23, 2015. Her services were held at Greater Union Baptist Church in Austin, Texas,

Hello All!! No time, no see.  Happy to sign up for this page and looking forward to catching up.  Where can I look to find information about our reunion? Can you believe it’s been 40 years?

Sorry that I didn’t get a post in with the pic.  Not sure how many remember me.  Was into math and English, and did take a couple of semesters at the community school.  Sad to say I was good friends with our classmate who was severely injured in a car accident during the junior year - his dad was a doctor? It’s been so long... but always wondered how he is.  Before I moved away (right after school), I used to go visit him.

Brad,   Thanks for the post.  Yes, it was David Watson.  Has anyone kept up with him? Does anyone know how he is doing?  Does anyone remember Donna Garcia?  I would expect her to have ‘gone far’ with a career, etc.  it’s been a long time and I am great with numbers but horrible with names.  Many fun memories!

Regina Werner (Compelube)

Connie,

I remember you. Can't remember just how we connected maybe Donna Garcia. I stayed up with Donna for several years after high school. Last I heard she was going to medical school. I haven't heard from her since. I use to run around with her and Dena Kelley.

David Watson lived next door to my ex-husband's parents in high school. Very sad about the wreck. I remember he loved going to the battle of the bands to listen to Craig and I play music after the wreck. His brother would bring him. We always stopped by to see him when we would visit my in-laws. When Craigs mom and dad moved we lost contact with the him so I haven't seen him since I was in my 20's.

Hope all is going well with you!

Regina,  I don’t recall exactly how we connected but I do recall hanging out with you.  Donna and I were very good friends growing up.  Her family was always very kind.  Someone on here thought she had passed away?? She and I drifted apart some in high school when I went to Arizona for part of my sophomore year (didn’t like it and moved back).  Are you still in Muskogee?  It was vibrant while growing up, and heard it is having hard times. Can’t believe the glass plant closed.  Is the Community Collwge still part of the high stool? I took a couple semesters of graphic arts.  Was fun to go there, and enjoyed the class.  How are you? It would be a delight to connect back with some people I was around.  Take care!

In case it hasn't trickled down this far for those not on FB or in Muskogee, Ron Boren passed away Tues. night as a result of an unsucessful heart valve replacement operation.  Services are pending at this time.

It was quite a shock to everyone.  His service just started.  I'm not there because I figure everyone & their dog would be there.  Thought it was going to be a full blown funeral service, given what the paper had posted, whith pall bearers & the like, but when I went by Bradley yesterday to pay my respects, I was told he had been cremated.

Natalie, what did you hear about me?  I'm still alive, obviously.  I just posted about Ron was all.

Steve Briggs, are you sure you're still alive? What proof do you have?

The past couple of years, I have been involved with a Tulsa based jazz band called the Modern Oklahoma Jazz Orchestra as an arranger (and somtimes pianist).  We will be presenting our first concert of the year on Sunday, March 1,from 5-7 PM.  In addition to music written for the band by 3 other members, they'll be perfroming two pieces of mine, an arrangement of Take the A Train & an original compsition.  Tickest for "old folks" like us are $10 (regular general admission is $20).  Hope to see some of you there.  Thanks.

Concert has been changed form the 1st to the 15th, same time.
