2010 HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE YEAR FOR ME LOST MY DAD IN FEB DUE TO COMPLICATIONS TO HIS STROKE IT WAS A LONG LONG 7 MONTH BATTLE OF DAD. THEN IN NOVEMBER LOST MY 4 YEAR OLD GRANDSON DAKOTA LANE TO  THAT HORRIBLE KID THE KILLED HIM. NOW WE ARE STILL TRYING TO PICK UP OUR LIVES ALONG WITH MY DAUGHTER AND SONIN LAW AND GRANDSON JON HELPING THEM GET THROUGH THE LOSS . ON A GOOD NOTE WE NOW HAVE A NEW GRANDSON EASTON CADE LANE BORN NOVEMBER 26,2010 5 LBS 15OZS. A LITTLE TIKE HANDSOME AS EVER. PLEASE PLEASE EVERYONE PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY AS WE GO THROUGH THIS STRUGGLE COURT IS COMING UPON US AND PRAY THAT STEPHANIE( MY DAUGHTER) CAN HANDLE ALL THE PROCEDURE OF THE COURT SYSTEM AND HAVING TO SEE THE GUY THAT KILL DAKOTA. I AM SO SORRY I HAVE BEEN OUT OF TOUCH WE OUR CLASS. BUT BACK IN SYNC. I HOPE AND PRAY EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY AND SAFE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR AND MY THIS YEAR BE THE BEST EVER FOR ALL. MISS YOU

I thought spring was coming.  Mowed (okay, had my son mow) my lawn this week and turned on the air conditioner.  Two days later the heater was back on and snow flurries all weekend.

Also, a belated note of condolence to all those who have lost people dear to you this past year...I, too, lost a few close to my heart: my eldest uncle and my great aunt (who was like a sister to my grandmother)...they'll always have such a fond spot in my memory

So very sad to learn (months later!) of the death of Martin Doerner. Condolences to you, Michael, your sister Kathy, and the rest of your large tribe (like my own family). My brother Harley died on July 11, 1996, and I miss him every day.

Martin's obituary is finally posted on the In Memory page. I apologize for taking so long. Martin was a close friend in high school and I have a lot of funny, fond memories, especially involving German classes. We sporadically kept in touch through the years. I was very sad to have to miss his funeral.
