Constance (Connie) McInnis Isham

Seven grandchildren! Ages 1-7

I worked with Southwestern Bell for a year and then moved to Arizona. I lived in Mesa and worked downtown Phoenix, with managment department of Mountain Bell - while attending college, part time. In December 1980, I married and moved to Minnesota. We were married almost 20 years, and had 4 children. During most of the 20 years I was a stay at home mom, and learned what it was like to live in the country! (culture shock!!! I never realized those tractors had airconditioning, televisions, etc)

I returned to college full-time, in 1998, and finished my BS degree in Accounting with a minor in Business/Finance. I am remarried and living in Brookings, SD. I have a great job at South Dakota State Univeristy (where my husband is a professor). I am currently working on my MBA. I would be a professional student if I could afford it!!

My life is very blessed!

UPDATE: We moved to Johnson City area, of NE Tennessee. My husband took a teaching position offered at the university here (ETSU). This is Kenny Chesney's alma matter!!

It is beautiful, and the people are friendly. There is history everywehere!

I moved to Muskogee the beginning of 5th grade. I went to Cherokee Elementary, I believe.

School was my refuge and I do wish I could go back and enjoy it more! I miss my classmates. You were all great!

I remember many friends. Although I wasn't in the 'social' status of some friends, they still included me ~ Dawn Frix was one.

There are some wonderful classmates who have passed on. I regret the loss, and pray for their families! ~ Benji Gaston, Dawn, Frix, David Able are three that I recall.

Mr. McAdoo as my favorite teacher! I recall the math team going to OU one year. It was a very long but fun day! I never realized the possible methods used to drop eggs! Ha!

There are good memories of classmates and the school. Three best friends were Annette Cardy, Karen Lee, and Donna Garcia. ** Update: Karen passed away December 2010.
