My condolences to Buddy's family.  I have a good memory to share.  When we were in the 6th grade (or so) we were enrolled in the same ballroom dancing school. Those were the days!  Some church on the west side of Jefferson by Oak Street. At the end there was a dance competition.  Buddy and I were partners and we won the trophy for best dance partners.  It is an important memory as it is the only, ever only, competition that I got a statue trophy for that even had engraving on a brass plate.  It must have been Buddy's influence because I am motor planning challenged.  Thanks to Buddy I have at least one thing I can put on a shelf and dust with fond memories.

Funny the things we remember and are grateful for.  My best to his family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of our classmate, Buddy Cade.  He was always a nice person to me.  He, also, had a great sense of humor.  My condolenses to his wife, son, and sister.  May the good memories help you through this time.

I was always jealous of Buddy -- he was a nice guy, too darn handsome & an excellent athlete.  Four of us happened to meet in the Phoenix area yesterday & gave a toast in his honor.  I'm very sorry he's gone.

Cathy, you sell yourself short.  Not only could you dance, you played a mean game of tennis (left-handed to boot) & were a cheerleader @ Ridgeview.  Buddy was the lucky one.  (O.K. -- well, maybe it was 50-50.)

Sorryt to hear about Buddy.  I just met his sister Shari at a christmas dinner a few months ago. Said she would say hi to him, and that he was living in Arizona. I remember that he towered over me, when I was a junior newbie to the track team. A very kind guy. He always had that smile on his face, like he knew something that we didn't. A very gifted guy. So sorry for his family.
