According to his wife, Libby, Bill (aka: Ingo) passed away at their home in Antelope in July of 2018. He'd been in declining health for some time. No public obituary was published. I knew Ingo well @ Ridgeview & Napa High. He was a true original and I have many fond memories of him (some of which are better left unmentioned here). I suspect that everyone who knew him had at least one good "Ingo" story to tell. He was a loyal friend and I still have a momento from him. In H.S. he took a ceramics course from Mr. Vaaler and created for me my very own Viking Mug -- it is a thing of beauty. It holds a full pint of liquid (it's been measured many times with various liquids du jour), and has the face of a viking with a bulbous nose and a skullcap with protruding horns. It holds a place of honor in my little apartment. I miss you, Ingo.

Bill was always interesting and entertaining. I am saddened by his passing, and confused by the uncertain timing. Rest in peace, Ingo...

Bill and I were friends from Ridgeview Junior High School onward and shared many good times. One of the good guys. RIP Bill.
