March 18, 1946 - April 2, 2005
This remarkable woman left us on Saturday April 2, 2005, at the age of 59, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a longtime resident of Yountville in the beautiful Napa Valley that was so dear to her.
Anita is survived by her children, Tom Brambrink of Kalispel, Mt.; Jill Brambrink of Skippack, Pa.; and step-son David Foster of Napa. She also leaves many in-laws, nieces, nephews and loving friends. She is predeceased by her proud parents, Jerry and Tootsie Poynor.
If you would like to remember Anita with a gift, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Napa County, P.O. Box 695, Napa, CA 94558.

You were a wonderful person & a good friend --- your adult life started way too soon but you were up to the job. One great story I can tell was when you, Al, and the kids moved to Kettle Falls, Washington into that old log cabin. It was the 1970's back to our roots time --- you had running water but the out-house was a short walk, chickens, cats, dogs and that "darn goat" as you often called it, were all a part of the experience. That goat had a liking for your bed --- the kids would leave the door open & the goat would run in and jump up on the bed --- then the fight was on to get her outside again. I loved watching it unfold; but better still I loved telling that story & still do --- I get a large smile just thinking about it even now. Thanks for the great memories --- you were loved by many & are missed by all that knew you. "The Diner" was never the same after you left. You passed way too soon. RIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
