MORAN - Marsha S. Kumalae, 59, Moran, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at
Mayo Clinic - St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born July 4, 1946, in Santa Anna, Calif., the daughter of Oscar and
Claudine Minter Sager. She grew up in California, graduating from Napa High
School. She moved to Kansas in 1980.
She worked at Uniontown Nursing Home, for Dr. Carney in Iola and at Allen
County Hospital. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from Neosho
County Community College, then worked at Moran Manor where she was
currently the administrator.
On June 30, 1974, she married Wallace Kumalae in Napa, Calif. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Richard Kumalae, Norton; a daughter, Shannon
Simpson, Iola; two brothers, Oscar Sager, Clear Lake, Calif., and Dan Sager,
Bulls, Idaho; a sister, Nelldene Smith, Napa, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Moran Christian Church, led by
Pastor Bill LaPorte.
Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family
will receive friends from 7 - 8 p.m. that evening.
Memorials to Moran Manor Nursing Home may be left with Feuerborn Family
Funeral Service, 344 N. Cedar, Moran, KS 66755, which is in charge of
arrangements.

Sadly , Marsha died 9/16/2005 from complications after heart surgery.

The picture posted here is Margo Sager, not Marsha Sager.  I was friends with Margo in high school.  We had some good times together!  I will miss her.

Janice Land (Brial)

I was friends with Margo Sager and we shared an apartment for several months after high school.  I was so sorry to hear of her passing.
