I enjoyed following Dennis once he joined the Napa County Sheriff's office. He worked the Napa River patrol and designed a utility boat that could be run directly onto the shore.  Many a time I would be out fishing and Dennis would come flying past me in his shiny "landing craft."

I remember Dennis as fun-loving and sweet.  He always made me laugh.

I remember Dennis being very tall, as I was/am very short.  Dennis was one of the nicest people I knew back then.  He will sorely be missed.

Wait!  Are you SURE that Dennis has passed away!?  I, actually, had a very long talk with him when we were searching for classmates, and he told me he had never been to a Reunion and he felt it was time he did.  He was planning on coming to our Reunion!
