Virginia and I were dear friends and very close family ties. She became ill in Senior year and passed on Christmas Day in 1963 from a brain tumor and cancer. She was an only child and her parents were devistated. It took many years before they would see me and my family. I remained friends with them and they were godparents to my daughter. Their home on Lone Oak is now still occupied by a family member.
