Paul Merle Casey, 40, of Napa, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Martinez California. Born in Oakland January 15, 1947 to Edward M. and Mary E. Casey, he came to Napa in 1959 and graduated from Napa High School and Napa Valley College.

 Mr. Casey was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, Napa Parlor 62; and a life member and past master counselor of the Order of Demolay of Napa. He served 14 years in the U.S. Army and was an interpreter in Germany.  In Addition to his parents in Napa, Mr. Casey is survived by his sister Pamela Lausen of Glendale, Arizona. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Napa Memorial Gardens Mortuary with Rev. Harrell Miller of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation at the chapel will be until 8 tonight and at the time of service on Tuesday.

Robert Benning

Paul was born 1/15/1947 and married Joan Strahl in Napa on 6/24/1967. He died on 10/25/1987.

A good friend since ninth grade. Paul, you will be remembered as a really nice guy. RIP old friend and your passing makes us all think about our owm mortality
