Ken was born August 21, 1947 and died December 31, 2001. I first met Ken in the 7th grade at Silverado. He was a fun guy to hang around with. He was happy, funny, and some times wild and crazy. I lost contact with him after high school. I don't have any information about his death. Sorry to learn that he had passed away.

NAPA — Kenneth Paul Daglia passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, in Napa. He was born and reared in Napa, attending Lincoln Elementary School, Silverado Junior High School and graduating from Napa High School.

He worked for the P&X Market before entering the U.S. Army in March 1968. Kenneth received his training at Fort Lewis, Wash., before he was sent to Vietnam. Sgt. Daglia served in Vietnam with the 9th Infantry stationed in the Mekong Delta area at Dong Tam. He was in combat most of the time he was in the war zone and sent home four citations and medals during his tour of duty. He was discharged from the service in 1970. Kenneth worked for Albertson's for 35 years thereafter. He enjoyed football and spending time with his friends.

Kenneth is the son of the late Arlene and Fire Department Battalion Chief Pete Daglia.

Survivors include his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and Ruben Perez of Yountville and Gail and Frank Valenza of Vallejo; two nephews, Curtis Ghiringhelli of Suisun City and Joseph Perez of Yountville and two nieces, Carey Ghiringhelli of Vallejo and Christina Perez of Yountville; uncle Bob Cavagnaro and cousin Joann Horton of Napa. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Mary Cavagnaro.
