Frank was born September 10, 1947 and died May 4, 1986. Frank attended Alta Heights, Silverado, and Napa High. He went to UC Davis where he graduated. Frank was diabetic. He had that condition since his early childhood. He needed to inject insulin as a student at Silverado and perhaps even at a younger age. I met Frank at Silverado. He was bright, funny, and not hesitant to pull a prank if there was a laugh to be had. After high school I lost contact with Frank. I was told that he volunteered himself as an experimental research subject at UC Davis to help advance treatment for those with diabetes. Frank lost his sight as his condition grew worse and ultimately his life. We miss you, Frank.
