Shirley was born February 14, 1947 and died March 23, 2003. Did you notice that she was born on Valentine's Day? How perfect is that? She was an incredibly sweet and kind lady. Shirley graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in English and a secondary teaching credential. She married her high school sweetheart, Walt Price. They raised two terrific children. Shirley taught AP English at El Molino High School for 15 years or so where she was highly revered by both students and teachers. Then she moved into the Home Ec. Department where she taught for about 10 additional years. In the Home Ec. Department she created a "Culinary Arts" program which was distinguished throughout Northern California. She is greatly missed. I'll bet she is cooking up something fantastic for us all right now.
