Diane Owens Baxter Cole passed away February 19, 2012 of cancer. Diane was my cousin, "bestest" friend and classmate. She raised two beautiful daughters and had 5 grandchildren that she adored. While raising her daughters Diane started taking classes at the local Junior College in the Redding area and then commuted to Chico to get her credential. She then proudly taught middle school language arts for 30 years in Cottonwood CA..
Just looking at the "in Memory" section and is there anyone who can update? It seems so sad that someone like Diane isnt recognized as when she "moved to a higher plane" what is left for all of us...

She died in February 2012 due to cancer. According to her daughter, Courtney Baxter Marzocco she lived a very good life and touched many people.
