Jeff passed away early in the morning of Thursday, November 17, 2022 due to complications of pneumonia and COVID...he will be greatly missed!  Here are some classmate comments:

*Rest in peace, Brother Spud.  You will be deeply missed, but not forgotten.  One more hand for Yat-C in the Green Clan tournament in heaven.  Another Backwater Boy alum inducted into the Heaven Hall of Fame!

*I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff. Such a great guy. Best wishes to his dear friends and family.

*The one high school classmate I feared passing before me, Jeffrey Green.  My grief is impossible to express.  But what can I possibly say about my high school best friend?  I mean, here is a guy who was always not only willing, but eager, to give unconditional support-sustenance to silly whims. God, how I loved him!  My heart is crushed, my will compromised.

*So sad to read this.  Thanks for letting everyone know.

*Jeff was a part of my teen years...so much fun...he did not deserve this manner of passing...we all would have loved to have him around much longer...our class is so special and close...we feel the passing much more than other classes...we have a special connection.  At this Thanksgiving time...hug your families and friends...be grateful and thankful for the time we have...give each other a hug, tell your loved ones you love 'em and stay healthy!

*He was a great guy! His was always a thought-provoking mind, a great sense of humor, a person with steadfast courageous positivity!  An example for us all...a very compassionate, warm person!  RIP, Jeff!

*Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends!  He will be sorely missed!  :(
