I knew Francis and she died in 1970, don't remember what month..but she was heading back to Sacramento University and went off the road and crash down an embankment. She had a wonderful spirit, sweet smile and so enjoyed her as my friend . She went to Ridgeview junior high and Napa high with me.
I'm so happy to see Bonnie post a comment in Franny's memory. Thank you Bonnie. I have been thinking about Fran lately. I was good friends with Fran, after we graduated high school, and went to the lake with her, and our other friends, alot, during the summer. I remember Fran's car accident, in 1969, I believe, and was to go with her that weekend, but I couldn't get off from work. I read about it in the Napa register, and was completely devestated. She and I were going to be roommates, in Napa, after she graduated from Sacramento State. She was so much fun to be around, and I miss her still. Her birthday was on Christmas eve. We used to get together and celebrate. I still feel bad for her family...her parents, and her two sisters...their hearts were broken. I went to visit her folks after her passing. I visit Tulocay cemetery, regularly, and Franny is a friend that I still visit. ♥ Rest in Peace Francis...
