Greg had been my friend since grammar school at Alta Heights. He and his family moved to Hawaii for a few years then to Corvallis, OR. Greg returned to Napa and became a commercial fisherman operating along the California coast. On August 21, 1990 Greg suffered a tragic fatal accident while diving for sea urchins near Gualala CA.
Greg and I date back to Alta Heights grammer school. He was one of four guys who attended my 9th birthday party in 1956. I remember Greg as a tanned guy, very easy going, a lefty. We didn't see much of each other after that, but I was sad to hear of his accidental death.
