Becky Brashear Sparks

I moved to Nashville when I was 18 years old and we've been here in Tn. ever since. Talmadge and I both love it here but we still like to visit as often as we can. I started teaching preschool 11 years ago, and fell in love with it. For the last year and a half I've been doing therapy with an autistic child.
I have just started a new job working with special ed. children in the 7th grade. I love working with children at such a critical age and would bring them all home with me if I could. I've learned that the kids that are the most difficult need more love and attention that we can even give, and If I help one, I'll be happy.
Talmadge and I stay very busy with our children.
Little Talmadge is in the drumline at Harpeth High. Hes driving now and its making me crazy. I can't believe our baby boy will be leaving for college in two years!
Madison takes dance(ballet, tap,and jazz). She also takes piano lessons and is a cheerleader.
We will be celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary soon. Talmadge is my best friend and the love of my life. I think we're a good example of true love really does last forever.

I have so many wonderful memories there's no way to put them all into words. Me and Anna defininetly had some great times in band. I especially remember her trying to teach me how to smoke in the band room bathroom. I thought I would die when Mrs. Moberly screamed "Why do I smell smoke"! When me and Anna were together which was always, we where usually up to something.
Me, Heather, Allison, and Angie had some pretty great sleepovers.
The parties, proms, sleepovers, band trips, dances, track, and so much more make up wonderful memories, just like it was yesterday.
