I was principal at FN High before moving to the Letcher Co. Board of Education. I retired on June 30th from the possition of assisant superintendent which I had held since 2002. I went back to work on Oct. 1 as Director of Special Projects (currently building a new baseball field and soon to start on a new track/soccer field). These are located at the new Letcher County Central High School.

School Story

Very memorable, and has stuck with me for the last 40 years. There I met a girl named Madonna Meade at a magic show in the old gym at FNHS in December 1963. We were married on June 1, 1968 and believe it or not, we still are and plan to stay that way.
