I was blessed to marry my high school sweetheart Rick. We will celebrate 30 years of marriage on December 14, 2008. Our son Jason will celebrate his 25th birthday on December 23, 2008. I went back to school and became a teacher for seven years and now in my 7th year as an Elementary School Principal. I recently have been chosen as a Highly Skilled Educator. I will work for the Kentucky Department of Education. I will begin July 1, 2009. The job will require travel within the state of Kentucky. I will be responsible for being part of an assist team that will work with low performing schools. I am excited about the opportunity this job wil provide for me.
