I completed my freshman year at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, where I was a member of the Lady Cobra softball team. As a pitcher, I finished the season with an 8-8 record. I transferred to Morehead State University and graduated in 2004 with a BA in Psychology. I attended graduate school at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, and completed an MA in Clinical Psychology in 2006. I worked at the Johnson City Medical Center from May '06 to August '07 as a Family Advocate. I met my prince charming in December '06 and we were married June 30, 2007 - it was definitely a 'God thing.' I worked for OPTIONS for Families in Need from October '07 to May '08 as a Family Preservation Specialist. I began working as an outpatient therapist for Holston Counseling Center, a Division of Frontier Health, in July '08. My husband is a General Contractor, so we plan to switch houses alot until we settle into a home. We currently live happily in Blountville, TN, with our two tabbies. And we do plan to have children someday. I live close to my sister - Dana - and her family, and I try to spend as much time as possible with my precious nieces - Macie Ellyn and Kenley Danielle. I love them as though they belonged to me.

School Story

I definitely enjoyed playing softball and cheering all four years of high school. I had a small group of close friends I could always count on - several of whom I still cherish. There were plenty of good times throughout these years - lots of practices, competitive softball games, cheerleading competitions, cheering at football and basketball games, spending time with Ms. Morrow/Quillen, advice from Ms. Hampton, talks with Ms. Holbrook, class with Ms. Fields, giving Mr. Sturgill a hard time for fun, NOT participating in physical activities in Advanced PE class - which seemed to bother Mr. Kincer some days more than others, sneaking out of class 'just because,' eating at Pine Mountain Grill after school... What I really enjoyed most about high school was graduating and moving on to the next phase of my life.
