Sherry Little Pike

After graduation, I went to the University of Kentucky and earned a bachelor's degree in social work. After I graduated from U.K., I married Jeff Pike (class of 1978,) and we lived here in Letcher County for a few months.
Jeff decided he wanted to go into the Air Force and I thought it sounded like an adventure, so in 1984, he went in the Air Force and we lived in Anchorage, Alaska for over 6 years.
While we were there, we had our daughter, Katie.
We then moved to Homestead, Florida and lived a year where we had our son, Tommy.
After having children, we decided to move back to Letcher County so our children would be around family. I have never regretted it.

We built a home in Bottom Fork in 1999. I work as a social worker for the state of Ky. (I do investigations of child abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse.) Jeff works as a MLT at Wellmont Hospital in Norton, Va.

Our daughter is in her second year of college, majoring in nursing. Our son is a Senior at Letcher County Central High School and plans to attend Morehead in the fall.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this website and highly commend Karen and Wallace for all their work.

I moved to Fleming at the beginning of my Freshmen year. I enjoyed school at F-N and have many wonderful memories of my four years there.
I hope to get in touch with many classsmates through this site and would enjoy receiving messages.
