CARI TATE Waldick

Married, left Phila., Divorced, all in 87. Worked at McDonalds; hated it, but it allowed me to go to college for a while. Married, had my son, bye bye NC State! Bought a house, had my daughter, went to church; hated it, but God had other plans!
After four years of warming a pew, feeling confused, and keeping my head down, it all finally clicked. I found my passion and eventually my voice. I love teaching our three-year-old choir, being in a contemporary Christian ensamble as well as two choirs. I teach Vacation Bible School, and volunteer whenever/wherever I can. I'm humbly trying to follow where Jesus leads, but I have a lot of catching up to do!
I love my family, and being a mom. I hate keeping house, though it's in the job description. My kids teach me more than I ever learned in school!
I take dance aerobics and have discovered a love of dance. I don't know if I can make the reunion this time, but who knows?

What can I say, I was the short one, the quiet one, the shy one, the last picked, the picked on, the one who would cry if someone looked at me wrong. I was over-looked and underestimated, and there's not enough money in the world to make me go back and relive it again unless I could change things.
But the bright side was music. Band and choir were a shelter to me, and where my best memories were made. Without that bright spot I might have walked out in front of the truck.
