The most exciting event to happen in our lives since high school is the birth of our granddaughter, Samantha Rylie White to our daughter, Rachel, and her husband, Eric, on July 10, 2008.

One of the funniest stories I remember from high school was in the 9th grade when Mike Dudley jumped up in the middle of class, pushing chairs out of the way looking for a lost contact lense. Several other guys jumped in to "help". The funny thing was...Mike didn't wear contacts!

One other story....Mike Dudley stood up in class and started taunting Tom Sawyers hair with "Nanny, Nanny, Boo, Boo". When Mrs. Butler asked him what he was doing, he replied, "Teasing Tom's hair."
