It's hard to believe it's been almost 20 years since I graduated from DBCS. Time flies!! I am so blessed with my amazing husband, Alan. I love being married to my best friend! We have 3 awesome boys that I love homeschooling. We live on property with my parents in Smithfield - another huge blessing!!! We have 4 fun pets - 2 dogs that are shepherd/hound mix and 2 kittens. They add a lot of fun to our life!
We attend Mill Swamp Baptist Church in Ivor, VA. We feel very blessed to have found a church out in the country that preaches God's word! We are busy there involved in music, the youth, teaching S.S., etc.
Alan works at the Peninsula Rescue Mission with my dad. He has been there 10 years now and loves it. It is amazing to watch him continue to grow in his desire to serve God. He is a perpetual student!!! Just waiting for him to tell me he's heading back to seminary for another degree!
As we work with the youth in our church, I am so amazed at how little they know about God's word, even those that grew up in church. I am so thankful for the solid foundation of Bible I received at Denbigh!
