Mary Ellen Clayboss

OCTOBER 15, 1951 ~ JULY 9, 2018

Mary Ellen Clayboss, 66, of Downingtown, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at her home.  She was the beloved wife of David Clayboss, Sr., with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Carville and Mabel Facciolli.

Mary Ellen graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1969.  She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting and collecting porcelain dolls.  She also was a lover of all animals, especially her dogs.

In addition to her husband, Mary Ellen is survived by her children, David Clayboss, Jr. (Shannon) of Austin, Tx, Christopher Clayboss (Kathy) of Savannah, GA, Jonathan Clayboss (Jennifer) of Colorado and Melissa Clayboss of Downingtown.  Also survived by her brothers, Bernard and William “Billy” Carville; sisters, Kim Sullivan, Cindy Lowe, Michelle Facciolli and Karen Cahill and by eight grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Facciolli.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.  Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, West Chester.
