Kathryn Logrip

Kathryn M. "Kathy" Logrip, of Norristown, died on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Miss Logrip was 55 years of age.

Born in Norristown on Dec. 12, 1951, a daughter to Kathryn E. (Sullivan) Logrip and the late Michael Logrip of Norristown.

Kathy was employed as a secretary at the Villa Maria Academy in Paoli, and was previously employed by the former Western Electric Co., Inc. in King of Prussia as a clerical worker. She graduated from the former A.D. Eisenhower High School in Norristown, and she was a member of the Jeffersonville United Presbyterian Church in Jeffersonville.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her faithful and trusted companion "Rusty"; her two sisters, Nancy Adamick of Bridgeport and Susan ( Bill) Madden of Georgia. She is also survived by her niece Beth Wells of Akron, Ohio; her three nephews: Jeff Thorpe of Coshocton, Ohio, John Thorpe of Topeka, Kan., David Biddy of West Chester; and two great-nieces. A nephew, Michael David Thorpe had also preceded her in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to participate in Kathy's Life Celebration service at the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, Norristown on Monday, Feb. 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday, Feb. 6 from 9 to 10 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
