As sad as this is to say... As of yesterday, my uncle Thom O'Neill passed away around 10:20am. I know this is a late notice, but it was hard to find the words to say of what news was to be told. My uncle was a huge part of all of our lives. He was super funny, outgoing, took pride in his Irish background ( more than most Irish people I know), loved to fish (I'm not sure how "lucky" you could or could not say he was), served in the U.S. Army, was a butcher or "the manager of meats" (family joke), he did not care for sports, but he had one true love and focus on family. He loved his parents, brothers and sister, and adored his grandchildren. He always wanted to spend as much time with everyone in the family, knowing how they were his world, as he was ours. He battled cancer courageously for a long time, and proved how much of a fighter he truly was. He is now in Heaven with his father and finally at peace. I love you Uncle Thom, you were a huge part in all of our lives, and loved dearly in all of our hearts. You will be missed, and will always and forever be the greatest uncle. Rest in peace.
