I worked in a data center at Searle pharmaceuticals for about 26 years before Pfizer bought us
and shut us down. Then I moved on to a company called Concuity Inc. where I worked for about two years before being laid off in January of 2009. I'm still presently looking for the right job. I'm just trying to reinvent myself as I'm very tired of computers and technology work.
About 15 years ago I decided to do my family history and wished I had been a better student, and paid more attention in school. I had to learn how families migrated and how territories changed their borders and names. Handwriting has also changed so I had to research how handwriting used to look. I also had to learn the medical history of things that had happened during certain time periods. I did my family history back to 1790 and then got distracted by religion.
So for the next 8 years I obsessed on trying to figure out religion. The more I learned the more I wanted to learn. I attended Bible study courses, watched documentaries, read tons of books, and did lots of internet research. There are two things that I have learned. The reason the Bible is call the Living Word is because it does in fact change the more you study it. The second thing being that God won't allow anyone to prove his existence because He wants people to come to him by Faith.
My latest kick has been politics and corruption of government. I could rant and rave for a long time on this so I will just let this topic go.
For any teachers reading this I do know how hard you all tried to teach me but it would seem that I needed a real life atmosphere to motivate my learning abilities.
